Hi
Just sold my Nokia 9500 and replaced it with a Dreambox and although I am happy with the choice I made, I miss being able to easily find feeds with the old combination of my Echostar analogue and the Nokia
I would like another box beside the Dreambox that can find feeds on both C-Band and KU. I have read about the Coship but that seems to not be available? Is there any other receiver that may do this job, the RSD ODM perhaps? Auto SR and FEC search to be precise
Any advice would be appreciated
Matthew

There will be a new SAt dealer in NZ starting in November I think.
A blind search unit might just be one of their first products offerd

the sponsor has a unit, not sure on how good it is, seems to back the claims though.

Who told you the Coship was unavaliable
try e-mailing Pro-chip, they will sell you one..
As for swapping a 15 year old Nokia for a Dreambox, sounds
good to me.. IF your going to use the Dreambox as it's intended
If your just going to plug the thing in and watch a few channels however, I really think you have wasted your money. There are plenty of receivers out there that will do that,
As for searching for feeds on B1, once you have loaded the frequances for B1, and they are listed on this Forum, Its simply a matter of flipping through them [some 55 frequances] to see whats on.. ;) ;) ;)

Thanks guys
Yes Bassett, I am using the Dreambox well and still learning.
The feed hunting is mainly for C-band, Asiasat2 and PAS-2 and PAS-10 etc. Always good feeds on Asiasat2 i have found (mainly soccer etc)
As for the Coship, I read the Satfacts Sept issue and disputes with the supplier were mentioned etc Pro-chip? have you got their e-mail or web address Bassett?
Yalickit- thanks, I will keep this receiver in mind
Thanks

Lot of confusion over the status of the Co-ship, overseas dealers in U.K and U.S cannot get stock from Factory and yet Satlink in NZ can (and distributer Telsat)
Co_ship even went as far as writing an advert in the latest Satfacts saying the unit is still produced.
strange eh
