Satcruiser DSR-201p - Serial Connection

Gday everyone..

What type of serial cable do I need to use the satcruiser editor program with my DVR?

Have tried straight through and null, but to no effect. Do I have to do something to the receiver to get it into download mode (if such a thing exists).

I haven't used a satcruiser before but with the humax you use a null modem cable and you switch the box off then back on for it to start downloading. Maybe give this a try.
