DiseqC 1.2 and 1.0 Humax

Guys I am running Humax 5400 with four dishes and now have put a actuator on one C Band 2.4M dish.

I intend putting that dish on DiseqC switch position A which is the one that it reverts to on power up etc.

I dont want to run motor and sense cables from my house to the dish and would prefer to run a V Box in my shed and that way I only have to run a short M1 M2 and sense cable.

The problem I face is that on the Humax 5400 you can only run diseq 1.0 which is protocol for the 4 position antenna switch OR diseq1.2 which is the protocol for the V Box. One or the other. Not both at the same time on one antenna setting.

I intened putting my V-Box after the 4 postion switch (ie between the Diseq switch and the LNB).

The V Box will be connected to DiseqC switch position A and controlled by the Humax motor drive control via the remote.

Could someone out there who is running humax 5400, diseqC 3 position or more switch for three or more dishes, V-box at the dish, please assist.

I dont want to use a positioner because I would have to run M1.M2 cables from my lounge room to the dish. V-box is a better option and also cheaper.....only $100

Is someone out there having the same problems as me with the Humax5400, running diseqC 1.0 and 1.2 format, attempting to control the dish from the Humax remote control and not have to do anything else........You will encounter this problem when you have three or more dishes.

I dont want to use splitter if I can help it.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
