DiSEqC 1.2 - 2 on 1 RG6 cable??
Is it possible to you use two DiSEqC 1.2 set ups on 2 seperate dishes via the one receiver and one coaxial cable run? I have one in operation now working very well.
Further to that, if two DiSEqC 1.2 set ups are possible can you use them in conjunction with a 22 KHz switch that switches between the 2 dishes via the receiver? I really don't want to do another RG6 coaxial cable run!! I know I'm able to use the 22 KHz switch with one DiSEqC 1.2 set up to the first dish but don't know about two DiSEqC 1.2 via V-Box to actuator arm on the 2nd dish. I might be wanting to do a bit to much here but it is worth the ask if someone knows. The 5400Z manual doesn't really state its limitaions. |

I'm having a similar problem with a 22khz switch and 2 Diseqc 1.2 motors. It seems that the switch is slower than the diseqc 1.2 command so the wrong dish moves. I'm going to buy a 0/12V switch to see if it fixes the problem.

Hi Vetrun, sorry I keep posting my threads in the wrong sections.
My understanding is the receiver uses DiSEqC 1.2 to talk to the V-Box/actuator and the 0/22 Controlled switch to switch dish. The 13 and 18 V to send back both polarities respectively off either the 22KHz or 0 KHz. I think that's right? quote: "It seems that the switch is slower than the diseqc 1.2 command so the wrong dish moves." So both of your dishes are on their respective V-Box/actuators? Would this all be using the one receiver? So the 0/12 V switch is to replace the 22 KHz switch, yeah? That's interesting let us know how it works out. Regards, Daneyboy |

I have a vbox and a moteck Diseqc motor connected to the 1 receiver. At the moment I only have the vbox working and the moteck doesn't move. I have no idea if replacing the 22khz switch with a 0/12V switch will work but its worth a try.
When I change channels from Cband to the motech motor (ku) the vbox on the cband setup moves to position 1 on the vbox but the right ku channel appears but the ku dish can't move with this setup. vetrun |

If your humax is allcammed the new TUX 3.1 looks like it should be able to do it:
- New DiSEqC function to use a DiSEqC switch and up to 4 DiSEqC motors at the same time. I'll let you know how it goes. vetrun |

Works great with a 2 port Diseqc switch with a vbox on one port and a moteck motor on the other.
